Walls Cassious Chase "Chase"
A shining star! Our Friend
August 21, 1996 - May 22, 2006

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven
where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us
to let us know they are happy.  ~Author Unknown

Sire: Ch. Beau Rin Patch      Dam: Fisher's Cedar Breeze

Our love of the boxer breed began with our precious brindle boy Chase. Chase was, and still is a shining star!

Chase was a very special boy. He had a gentle spirit and was immensely sensitive. If he sensed sadness, sorrow or pain, he would do all he could to comfort.

Chase made friends of everyone who met him. He inspired an appreciation of the breed to a great number of people. Although he never stepped into a show ring, he was a true ambassador to the boxer breed.

Chase embodied the boxer temperament. He was fiercely loyal, loving, protective, playful and fun loving.

Chase is deeply missed but fondly remembered.

Friendship makes prosperity more shining
and lessens adversity by dividing and sharing it. ~Cicero

Unfortunately, we didn't learn until Chase's later years, just how much he loved to swim. Without a life jacket, Chase loved to play in shallow water. Once he discovered that he could float with his new life jacket, there was no stopping him from swimming. At his favorite lake (the Little Shuswap) he could swim for hours. If it was too cold to swim he would stand on the deck of grandma's cabin and pout and look longingly at the water.
